Equipping the Next Generation

Mercy Omo-Okoroh is an educator, researcher, mentor, and youth development advocate passionate about helping young people discover purpose, build character, and create meaningful impact in their communities.

She is the founder of Renewed Gen Z, a platform dedicated to equipping the next generation with the knowledge, values, and support they need to thrive — spiritually, academically, professionally, and personally. Through mentorship, community building, educational resources, and faith-based conversations, she is committed to raising a generation of confident, purpose-driven leaders.

Academic Journey

Excellence in the Classroom

Mercy's passion for growth and excellence is reflected in her academic journey. She graduated with First Class Honours in Biochemistry from Lagos State University (LASU) — a testament to her discipline, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to excellence.

She is currently pursuing a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Structure and Cancer Research at the University of Ibadan, where she continues to deepen her expertise in scientific research and critical thinking. Her academic path shows that faith and intellectual rigour are not opposites — they are partners.

Beyond the Degree

Building Systems That Help People

Beyond academics, Mercy has built experience coordinating educational programs, managing projects, and developing systems that help people and organizations operate more effectively. Her work has involved supporting students, facilitating communication across academic environments, and creating structures that improve learning outcomes and collaboration.

She brings the same rigour she applies in the lab to everything she builds — whether that's a curriculum, a content strategy, or a community. Systems thinking, empathy, and faith are the thread that runs through it all.
